Here are seven other songs and albums that we have been enjoying this week at our Locked Down Yellow Café HQ!

1.    Kathleen Edward’s latest single Options Open released on 19th May 2020. Genre: Folk. We know very little about Kathleen but we highly recommend this roots music single

2.    Grammy Award Nominated Sarah Jarosz’s latest single Maggie released on 15th May 2020 from her forthcoming album World On The Ground. Genre: Folk

3.    Haux’s latest single Calico released on 13th May 2020. Genre: Indie. An interesting from this Massachusetts singer/songwriter.

4.    Kate Rusby’s single Manic Monday released on 11th May 2020 from her forthcoming album Hand Me Down. Genre: Folk. An interesting departure by this Yorkshire traditional singer of a cover version of this Prince classic.

5.    Aidan O’Rourke’s new album 365 Complete Works 3 released on 15th May 2020. Genre: Folk. An inspired solo album by a member of the much-acclaimed Scottish trio Lau that also features Kris Drever.

6.    Sharon Van Etten’s latest single (What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding? Released on 15th May 2020. Genre: Indie. A fantastic new song from this New York singer/songwriter.

7.    Anna Tivel’s latest single Minneapolis (Acoustic) released on 15th May 2020. Genre: Folk. Anna is a Rolling Stone Magazine listed stand-out performer in 2019 and this new single does not disappoint.
